The Area
Trullo Rosmarino is situated just outside Martina Franca, the charming main town in the Valle d'Itria. The Valle d'Itria is probably best known for its trulli, and nowhere are these more in evidence than in the picture-postcard town of Alberobello. Several other lovely towns, such as Locorotondo, Cisternino and Ostuni, a beautifully restored baroque town with stunning panoramic views, are close by. Taranto is also well worth a visit and easy to get to. If you are looking for beaches, the Adriatic coast offers stretches of sandy and rocky coast and some excellent lidos. The Ionian Sea is a little bit further but the long expanses of sandy beach found there are amongst the loveliest in the Med. Further afield, Lecce, Gallipoli, Otranto and Monopoli are justly famous towns waiting for you to unlock their secrets.

We had a wonderful time at Trullo Rosmarino. The rural setting was lovely and the house was very nicely configured with indoor and outdoor living spaces and lots of thoughtful touches like providing Bluetooth speakers for us to listen to music. We like to cook, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. In addition, the owner provided us with a wonderful selection of food items when we arrived that really made us feel at home. We highly recommend Trullo Rosemarino and can’t wait to return.
