The Area
Sitting just 300m from the divine beach and the translucent waters of Torre Pali on the southwest coast of Puglia, Fiore Bianco is ideally positioned both for exploring Salento's many treasures and relaxing on golden-white sands.
The coastline is hard to beat for beach lovers, and it's no coincidence that the locals call this area the "Maldives". Within an easy stroll is a series of chic beach clubs - lidi - (usually open between June and the middle of September), where you can hire umbrellas and sun loungers, sip on a cocktail and dine late into the night.
For shops, other restaurants and amenities, the nearest village is Marina di Salve, just a couple of kilometres up the coast. Charming, historic Ugento, which has more choice, is 15km away and worth a visit in its own right.
The charming Liberty Style resort town of Santa Maria di Leuca, with its restaurants, bars and yachting marina, is just a 25-minute drive away, while the fascinating fortified island town of Gallipoli is similarly close by.
Slightly further afield, but still within easy striking distance, is the beautiful baroque masterpiece of Lecce and the east-facing Adriatic gem of Otranto.
Salento is also home to many charming, off-the-beaten-track towns and villages tucked away in the gentle countryside. Each one has its own particular character, history, gastronomic specialities and we highly recommend you visit a few.

Fiore Bianco was great. What stood out was the décor, the proximity to the beach, and the facilities provided by the owner to make you welcome.

We had a fantastic experience in a fantastic place. Fiore Bianco is special due to its location and its structure. The photos don't do it justice.
