The Area
Trullo Agathea occupies a panoramic position on the low eastern flanks of the Valle d'Itria, looking out over the extensive olive-carpeted plain that runs alongside the sea.. The picturesque, historic town of Cisternino is just a 10-minute drive up and over the wooded hills that rise behind the property, while the beaches and lidos of the Adriatic coast are a similar distance away.
An easy drive north or south will take you to more of the Valle d'Itria's picture-perfect towns, which include Ostuni, the whitest of all the whitewashed towns nearby, Locorotondo (literally the round place) and Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to its trulli-filled centre.
Also recommended are the lovely coastal towns of Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, which are a 25 to 35-minute drive away. All of which means that Trullo Agathea, is really well-placed for seeing the many delights of central Puglia.

Trullo Agathea is a beautiful place! The house is lovely, the setting magic, I highly recommend it. It was a great place, exactly what you see in the photographs. The local team is extremely helpful and kind. It was a dream holiday and we will certainly return next year.

Trullo Agathea was perfect, just as we had imagined and more! The house and the surroundings were perfect. Amenities and nice villages close by. What stood out for us was the isolation of the house, the quiet and the quality of the design. We would return for these things.
