The Area
Lina sits in the north of Meganissi, just outside the charming village of Spartochori, whose shops, bars and tavernas are just a 5-minute stroll away. A 7-minute drive (or 15/20-minute walk) will take you down to the lovely beach of Spilia (below the house), while Agios Ioannis beach is a 10-minute drive away.
Meganissi itself covers just 20 square kilometres but has plenty to offer, with numerous bays and beaches to explore, sleepy white-washed villages, such as Katomeri or Spartochori, to wander around and lots of good walking paths in the centre of the island.
The two main harbours of Vathi and Spilia are great spots for dining on fish, whiling away an hour or two with a drink in hand or setting out on one of the frequent ferries to visit other islands in the Ionian archipelago, such as neighbouring Lefkada.

Lina was really well equipped, it had everything we could possibly need or want - the ice box, pool inflatables (and pump) and folding sun loungers you could take to the beach were a really nice touch.

We had a wonderful, relaxing, Greek holiday experience at Lina. The description of the villa on the website was correct. Things that stood out for us? The view. The kitchen had everything for cooking. There is a great barbecue area. You can walk to the beach and a village. The garden is lovely and the villa was very clean.
