Getting there
Fly to Aktion-Preveza, then drive or take a transfer to Nidri on Lefkada (1hr) and a ferry (15mins).

- Surface area: 22km2 (approx)
- Population: 1,100 (approx)
- Most famous neighbour: the islet of Skorpios, once owned by Aristotle Onassis (he married Jackie Kennedy there in 1968)
- Must-see sight: the sea cave of Papanikolis, one of the largest in Greece
- Curious fact: due to its slender, 6.5km-long southern cape, Meganissi boasts over 30km of coastline
