About us
Founded in 2002 by husband-and-wife team Huw and Rossella Beaugié, The Thinking Traveller offers exclusive access to the most exceptional villas and the most extraordinary experiences in Sicily, Puglia, Tuscany, Greece, and Corsica.

- Thanks to our exclusivity model, you can check live availability directly on our site. This makes the booking process much more efficient for you and your clients – no intermediaries, no back and forth emails, no waiting for replies.
- Our 24/7 online booking facility means that no matter which time zone you’re in, you can book whenever it’s most convenient for you.
- We know everyone who’s anyone in our destinations, so you’ll never have to spend time researching or dealing with third-party suppliers. We’ll take care of all that.
3. Peace of mind and 360-degree service
Our team will be at your side every step of the way, and your clients will be looked after as if they were family.
- Our Villa Specialists visit and stay at our properties regularly, so they’re able to offer thoughtful, in-depth advice based on first-hand experience.
- Our Local Specialists, based in our destinations, will be there to support your clients once the villa booking is confirmed. They’re experts in logistics and full of ideas for transforming a great holiday into an unforgettable one. They will also look after your clients once they are at the villa.
4. Reliability and trust
Over the years, we’ve built up a strong reputation for professional excellence, reliability and integrity, not only with our clients but everyone we work with. More prosaically, but also of great importance, you can rely on us to pay your commission punctually as per our agreement.
How we work with our travel partners
We offer our contracted travel partners a 10% commission on the rental price of all our villas
(provided that we were not in touch with the clients directly already).
- When you contact us for a potential booking, one of our Villa Specialists will help you select the most suitable villa for your clients, in line with the composition of their group, and their dates, budget and requirements.
- A 30% deposit is required to confirm the reservation, and the remaining balance is due 9 weeks before departure.
- Once the booking is confirmed, a Local Specialist will step in - generally 10 to 12 weeks before your client's departure. They will be your clients’ point of contact during their stay.
- The Local team will coordinate the logistics and arrange any extra services and/or Experiences (Please note that no commission is offered on Experiences unless otherwise agreed).
- Services and activities organised at the villa may only be provided through The Thinking Traveller. Third-party suppliers are only permitted upon confirmation in writing from a member of our team.
- Once your clients have returned home, we will send you a feedback form to share with them.
- To obtain your commission, please prepare an invoice with your bank details and send to accountspayable@thethinkingtraveller.com. Your commission will be paid after the client’s stay has been completed. It usually takes up to 4 weeks to process the payment.
