Getting there
Fly to Athens and then take a ferry from Piraeus (2hr5).

- Surface area: 75km2 (approx)
- Population: 1,450 (approx)
- Most famous resident: Perseus, the slayer of Medusa, grew up on Serifos
- Best view: from Chora, the old capital, which wraps around a hill-top some 230m above the sea
- Most idyllic beach: Psili Ammos – fine white sand, shallow, transparent waters and a couple of tavernas
