Graphic Designer & Video Editor

The Graphic Designer role will be responsible for bringing The Thinking Traveller brand experience to live across visually exciting digital, motion and print media. Helping to ideate, edit and deliver social first motion content to engage our audience. With a keen eye for detail and an understanding of the nuances that set us apart as a luxury brand, you will be adept at evolving brand guidelines to create seasonal campaigns and optimising assets for different channels.
Your Responsibilities
Design Requirements
- Execute design briefs for business and marketing objectives into ideas that are clear, visually exciting and innovative within brand visual identity guidelines
- Lead on the creation and final artwork for all brand print collateral, including advertisements, brochures, merchandise, and internal branded documents
- Develop digital marketing assets such as emails, display ads, website visuals, and social media content
- Partner with the Social Media and CRM team to create a clear brand identity and graphic templates for either channel, and support with the ongoing roll out of communications
- Understanding the marketing eco-system and new creative solutions so we can optimise and increase channel performance. Working with channel leads to routine review asset performance
Motion Requirements
- Edit basic motion content to be used across social media and website. Ability to add subtle graphic animation and final colour grade
- Partner with our social media executive, in house picture editor, and partner content creators, to create an ownable look and feel for our social motion franchises. Including logo lock-ups and edit style for example
- Alongside the wider team, working with a social first mindset to come up with new ideas to improve our content engagement. Standing us apart from the competition, whilst maintaining our brand positioning
Brand Guardian
- Take ownership of asset quality control to ensure consistency with the brand’s standards and guidelines. Ensuring a luxury eye for detail over everything within The Thinking Traveller brand eco-system
- Routinely update the core brand guidelines document
- Be the design brand guardian internally and challenge back where required
Your Specifications
- Experience as a graphic designer, working on high-end brands and assets
- Advanced proficiency with design tools, including Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and motion tools such as After Effects or Premiere Pro
- Proven skills in creating digital and print assets, including liaising with printers
- Basic experience in video editing, motion graphics and colour grading to create dynamic, engaging social first content
- A strong understanding of modern design principles, including layout, typography, and user-focused design techniques
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast- paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present ideas clearly to stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to enhancing the brand experience
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence
- Excellent English, verbally and in writing including proven experience in discussing and explaining design project initiatives and deliverables to internal departments
- A team player with a collaborative working style, always working toward a common goal of enhancing the user experience of The Thinking Traveller
- A keen eye for detail
- Passion in digital design, user interface design, modern technologies and learning new techniques
